Introduction
By booking a service through Real Pandit, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Booking Cancellation
1.1 Cancellation by the Customer
Customers may cancel a confirmed booking subject to the following conditions:
- More than 48 hours before the scheduled service: Eligible for a 100% refund of the amount paid.
- Between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled service: Eligible for a 50% refund of the booking amount.
- Less than 24 hours before the scheduled service: No refund will be applicable.
- No-Show: Failure to attend the scheduled service without prior cancellation will result in the booking amount being forfeited, and no refund will be issued.
2. Cancellation by the Service Provider
If the assigned pandit is unable to perform the booked service due to unforeseen circumstances, Real Pandit will make reasonable efforts to arrange a suitable replacement.
If an alternative arrangement cannot be made, the customer will receive a full refund of the amount paid for the booking.
3. Service-Related Refunds
If you believe the service delivered was materially different from the service booked, you may submit a refund request.
Each request will be reviewed individually after considering the booking details, supporting information, and feedback from both parties. Depending on the findings, Real Pandit may issue a full refund, partial refund, or decline the request.
The decision of Real Pandit after completing its review shall be final.
4. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, please contact our support team and provide:
- Booking ID or Order ID
- Registered mobile number or email address
- Reason for the refund request
- Any supporting documents or images, if applicable
Refund requests should be submitted within 48 hours of the scheduled service.
5. Refund Processing Timeline
Once a refund request has been approved, the refund will be initiated using the original payment method.
Typical processing timelines are:
- UPI & Wallets: 3-5 business days
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5-7 business days
- Net Banking: 5-7 business days
Actual credit timelines may vary depending on your bank, payment gateway, or financial institution.
6. Non-Refundable Charges
Refunds will generally not be available for:
- Successfully completed services.
- Convenience fees, platform fees, or payment gateway charges, where applicable.
- Promotional credits, discounts, cashback, or bonus amounts.
- Bookings cancelled after the applicable cancellation window.
7. Exceptional Circumstances
If a service cannot be conducted due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of either party, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather conditions, government restrictions, public emergencies, strikes, or other force majeure events, Real Pandit may, at its discretion:
- Reschedule the booking to a mutually convenient date.
- Issue a full or partial refund where rescheduling is not reasonably possible.
8. Fraudulent or Misuse Claims
Real Pandit reserves the right to reject refund requests that are found to be fraudulent, misleading, abusive, or made in bad faith. Repeated misuse of the refund process may result in suspension or termination of the user's account.
9. Changes to this Policy
Real Pandit may update or modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes.
The revised policy will become effective upon publication on the platform. Continued use of Real Pandit after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
